Hi,
I am new to NI Labview, first time using it, so please explain as much as possible.
I have a touch screen and was planning to use it to actuate 4 Digital Out (DO) ports independantly on my DAQ card. This touch screen I have, when one presses on the screen, Windows acknowledges it as a Mouse down (the mouse button is pressed) action. The mouse on the screen is also repositioned relative to the dimensions of the touch screen.
I want to start with something simple. There are 4 corners, and 4 DO ports. When I press the the top left of the touch screen, DO port 1 should activate only, when I press the top-right of the touch screen DO port 2 should activate only, and so on.
With this simple (sounds simple) exercise, I should be able to understand Labview a bit more.
Also I want to output a pulse from these DO ports, which ever is selected. I will be using LEDs for this exercise. I have seen the pulse generation examples and will probably use them, but may need some help in transfering and making it function.
Could someone help me out, I would be grateful.
Thanks for any help in advance.
