varient data type

I want to read a waveform graph data from another vi.  But output is varient type and for changing it into the right type of waveform gragh, when I connect the output of "varient to data" function to a waveform gragh and it's local variable to type input, it generates an error that "he data type of the variant is not compatible with the data type wired to the type input." Does anyone help me in this problem?

Hi Maryam

Since you already know that the varient should be converted to waveform, wire waveform constant to the "varient to data" directly and read your waveform.
