Hi All

I am kiran.

I am using LV7.1 FDS. Can i install the LV8.0 FDS in the same PC so that i  can work on  different versions whenever required?

Yes, you can easily have several versions installed on the same computer.

Hi kiran,

you can install them on the same drive in the same folder - that's the standard setting for the installer routine.
The different LabView versions use their own subfolder in the "National Instruments" folder on your harddisc!

I'm using 5 versions right now, all installed to the same (main) folder.

Just a reminder...

You can install different LabVIEW versions, but the VI's are not compatible!
You can load 7.1 VI's in 8, but once they are saved in 8, 7.1 cannot load
them. YOu'll have to save them to previous version.

You probably knew that already...
