vi front panel showing, how to stop it ? Tried the obvious way !

Hi

I've got a TS 3.5 Sequence file with several LabVIEW (8.0.1) Action steps. One of the action steps shows the vi's front panel when called. I have de-selected the "Show front Panel When Called" option in the custom section of the Window Appearance menu item (vi properties) but the Window still flashes up briefly. The function of this window is a simple VISA write to an RS232 instrument, there is nothing else in there.

Are there options in TS that could be causing this to happen.

Regard
Chris

Just a quick answer for you.

It may actually be a LabVIEW option.
If you go into the vi properties, is the option (under window appearence/customise) show when loaded (or show when called) ticked?
This might be what's opening the vi front panel.

Hey Chris,

Sorry about that.. I read your forum post, then I got distracted and by the time I had answered I had completely forgotten you had already gone on the vi properties!
If you go into TestStand and select the module that keeps popping up.

right click>> Properties.
In here click on specify Module and check that "Show vi front panel when called" is not checked.

could be that?
