Hello again, Mr. O’Brien - please note that I was careful to spell you name correctly
My name is Richard, and I spoke to you briefly on the phone earlier. As I mentioned, Labview 8.2 was the first version of LV which officially supported Windows Vista. A patch update (8.2.1) added further VISTA support, and ironed out a few bugs. Therefore 8.2.1 is the oldest version of LabView I would recommend for use with Vista.

2. Discusses the removal of unsupported NI software from Windows VISTA, prior to the installation of your new software. http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/B4BF3B96988453B98625728100009670?OpenDocument
I hope this if of some use to you. Best wishes,
