i am using labview 8.2. quite new to wavelets i am unable to find any wavelet vis can anyone help on this

What is a "wavelet" VI?  Do you mean waveforms?

Wavelet analysis VI's are in the Advanced Signal Processing Toolkit, which is standard in the NI Developer Suite, but not on regular LabVIEW packages.
