It depends on what your executable is doing. Does it communicate with hardware? Did you include the drivers for that hardware? Did you add all the dependant files that are needed? Here is a good tutorial on building executable applications http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3303. I would start here and think about an additional installer if you need it. Hope this helps!!
