Sorry for the long reply because I had internet technical problems but this didnt help. How can we compare 2 images???

Have you tried the IMAQ Compare.vi?  It's in the Operators pallet and there's an example available.

Ok and how can i change the imaq capture output to read boolean. If images are similar then true and if different then false.

That is what my attached vi is doing. You have to further add some processing. If I were you i will add a auto threshold and find if there are any particles. If there are any particles then it means there are difference in the images.

ok i got it but the buffer element is not found in labview 8.6 so do anyone know an alternat element
