weird installer fault

I have created two applications in labVIEW 6.0.2, i install the second application as an addon to the first in a sub-directory. I install the main application first, but when i install or uninstall the second app, the first one runs. I cannot understand how an installer, can run another application unrelated to it. I belive it is something to do with it being in a directory above, but have no idea how to cure it. Can anyone help????

I can't offer you too much here. I've never heard of this happening, and it's mighty strange behavior. I would try installing the second application in a different folder just to see if the folder structure is the source of the problem. Let us know if it still exhibits the same behavior or not.
