Is there any problem you encounter? What is your lv version?

am using 7.1 and the prg provided by the device(filter) is 6. So whenever I run the program it shows unable to find the subvi.

I tried mass compilation and selected the installed labview folder.

Will it create any problems further?

even after mass compilation the vi is searching for the lcoation of the subvi's and fails to find so. Is there any permanent solution to stop searching subvis and automatically find the location?

Did you accidentally change the subvi (path/Location)?

If I had to guess I'd say the program was linked to a VI that is either (a) no longer included with 7.1, or (b) it was directly linked to a VI in the LV 6 folder (such as an example VI), and so LV 7 can't find it since that folder no longer exists. If you provide the name of the VI that it's looking for someone may be able to identify it if it's one that ships with LabVIEW.
