what is the purpose of run time shortcut menu for controls

i want to know, what is the purpose of run time shortcut menu for controls on front panel & how can i use it?

There are default run-time menus for the controls. For example a numeric control has commands to "Reinitialize to Default" and editing commands. You can make up your own menu to add whatever commands you need/want. There are a couple of examples that ship with LabVIEW on how to use menus.
