The DAQmx functions should appear under Measurement I/O in the Functions Palette (LabVIEW menu >> View >> Functions Palette or right click on an empty space of a diagram). See attached screenshot from the functions palette of LV8.2.1.

If not, I guess that you didn't install the LabVIEW support with the driver. Please check if there is a DAQmx directory on your harddrive. It's default location is :
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW X.X\vi.lib\DAQmx

(X.X --> your LabVIEW version)

If not, reinstall the driver and check this option in the DAQmx settings.

NI-DAQmx CD. Put it in your CD drive. Launch the installation and then check the LabVIEW X.X option in the DAQmx settings. That's all !

Hi 567888-

Which version of LabVIEW do you have installed?  Assuming it is a relatively new version (current version is 8.2.1), you may need to download a newer version of NI-DAQmx than the version that shipped with the hardware.  The current version of NI-DAQmx is here.  It provides support for LabVIEW 8.2.x, 8.0.x, and 7.1.x.

Hopefully this helps-

Hi 567888-

Yes- the NI-DAQmx 7.5 installer does not include support for LabVIEW 8.0.  You will need to use NI-DAQmx 8.0 (or later)- the link I posted above is for NI-DAQmx 8.5.

Thanks-
