It is a compactDAQ product, so you should be using dAQmx drivers.
Beyond that, I would read the instructions and see if it points out any special precautions. Often you will want to put a diode across the coil of a relay or solenoid to prevent damaging voltage spikes or currents from destroying the DAQ device when it switches off the coil and the collapsing magnetic field of the coil reverses the current back to the DAQ device.
