why am i getting this error and how can i fix it.

The selection is invalid

 

That doesn't help me any.  Do you have a screen shot of the pop up error window?  It should tell you where the error was thrown.

Nevermind, I found it.

 

Your problem is where you are bundling up the sampling info for the Basic Function Generator.  You have the items switched (the sample rate goes in the top).

I am have the same problem what do you exactly mean?the signal generator is not conneccteed properly or?

Hi NP,

 

because sine frequency and samplerate must fulfill the given relation.

I guess your VI does not fulfill that requirement…
