Well your access to that file was denied. I'm guessing you don't have the privlages to access that file in the way you want. Usually this is because of some corporate domain settings, or Windows UAC setting, combined with the rights of the user logged in (like is the user an admin? a guest? a user?)

Create one file in D then try. If you are at WIN7 then you need to have some permission from admin or may be OS setting is like that.

The file which says access denied, create in you PC local drive D then try

For time being use some fixed path to verify whether problem with drives only.
Once if this works then it will sure that this is the problem of permision only
