why i'm reciving this error ? Can any body help me ?

Event ID 5123. CREATE FILE encountered operating system error 5(Access is denied.) while attempting to open or create the physical file 'c:\program files\national instruments\lookout 5.1\database\cmp\mssql.mdf'.

Well your access to that file was denied.  I'm guessing you don't have the privlages to access that file in the way you want.  Usually this is because of some corporate domain settings, or Windows UAC setting, combined with the rights of the user logged in (like is the user an admin?  a guest? a user?)

Really i'm new in labview administrating ... I have scada server .. It was working fine .. but 2 days before it was hanged up .. Then I reboot it then It worke ok agin .. But I start reciving this message in the event log .. I dont know what it's belong to .. Also when I chiking the path in the message I did't find that file ... Plz help me to fix this problem

Create one file in D then try. If you are at WIN7 then you need to have some permission from admin or may be OS setting is like that.

The file which says access denied, create in you PC local drive D then try

And what is the used for that .. How the lab view will read that directory ?

For time being use some fixed path to verify whether problem with drives only.

 

Once if this works then it will sure that this is the problem of permision only
