win32 file io vis

Hi,

  I was wondering if anyone out there has the Win32 File VIs (or could save them) for Labview 7.1 or earlier?  The web page says they should work if you save them under earlier versions but since I don't have Labview 8 I can't do this myself!  Thanks,

Hi Paul,

In order to convert VIs to a previous version, you open the VIs in 8.0 and choose File - Save for Previous Version and then choose 7.1. I tried to convert the VIs, but there are commands used in the VIs that are do not exist in 7.1. I understand that you do not have 8.0, but I would suggest using this version. Is this an option for you?

Hi all.
As Amanda pointed out: You get some warnings when saving for 7.1 (see attached file).
Nevertheless: Here is the result and I hope it works in 7.0 and 7.1.

Thanks.  The warnings don't look too bad other than the first one and I can probably get around that.  I'll try it out and let you know.  I could use Labview 8.0 but I've developed a huge amount of programs in 7.1 for an experiment that's currently running and am wary of switching to 8.0 in the middle of it.
