Be patient!  Only 2 hours at passed on a Saturday morning.

No.  The USB-6009 is not a wireless device.

What you can try to do is get another device such as an ethernet to USB extender and connect that to a wifi router.

The USB means ... it connects via USB.  Have you seen the USB-6009?  Have you looked at its specifications?  It basically can read multiple analog input channels, write (at USB speeds, i.e. fairly slowly) 2 analog output channels, and manage a dozen digital I/O (configurable) channels, communicating with the (attached) PC via USB.  You can find all of this out by typing "USB 6009" into a Web search.

The product page has the full specifications. Is there anything not clear?

The device connects to a computer via USB.

It is also not clear at all what you mean by "wireless output"? (Communicating with the device via WIFI would be both ways, same for bluetooth. All signal IO is via the screw terminals, i.e. "wires".)

As has been said, there are external devices that can bridge usb over ethernet. (USB over IP extenders, which includes WIFI, of course).

Another option would be to connect it to a tiny, standalone, headless Windows 10 PC running your app and connect to it over WIFI using a remote desktop app.

I know that this device could only be operated with usb, in my previous project the i/o from this device plugged in to the sensor with db25 cable. Could I use wireless instead? If I could, is there any additional device?

Which connection are you asking about making wireless, the connection between the sensor and the USB-6009, or between the USB-6009 and the computer? Why did you mention the DB25 cable used in your previous project, is that relevant to your question?

yes sorry I forgot to mention it, so in our previous project, we used db-25 cable as an output from usb-6009, but then the requirement changed, we used wireless so I haven't tried using the db-25 yet. Do you know how and what kind of device that could be used to connect usb-6009 output?

Hi Adrian,

we used wireless

So you already know how to "wirelessly" connect your devices!?

Do you know how and what kind of device that could be used to connect usb-6009 output?

Yes: use (real copper) wires!

Best regards,
GerdW
