xy pairs to waveform

If there ever will be a "race for code"? 😄

Maybe the number of wires per minute? 😄

You know the fairy-tale about the rabbit and hedgehog? I think this could also be aplied on turtles. 😉

This is a good bit of useful code.  This is a very common problem of converting nonuinform sampling to a waveform (unless you are using DAQ where samples are timed using a clock).  I am supprised that there is not a function to do this already.

In think in LV7.0 there are also some interpolation functions, but not that comfortable as these in LV8.0.

Hi Jason,

do you know how to do this with LV 7.1? I mean converting an XY graph into a waveform graph. Do you have a sample in LV 7.1?

Look for some resample waveform examples. I found one that will take XY pairs and convert to waveforms.

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.0\vi.lib\measure\maresamp.llb\Resample Array of Pairs (single shot).vi

Hi,
I've found it but it doesn't work. I have a waveform in which I want to get the envelope. I've already found a demo in the disscussion forums where I can get this envelope (attach, Envelope.vi). The input of this VI is a waveform. On the other hand I have created another VI (also found from the posts) in which I add a circle of a configurable ratio to each point of my waveform. This help me to adust the limits of my measurement. The objective is to get the envelope of the "XY Graph Circles" using the Envelop.vi. the problem is that the Envelop requires waveform data and my graph is represented XY.
Do you have some idea to connect those to VIs?

Thanks in advance,

AOC
