2 dimensional string from teststand to cvi

I would like to pass a two dimensional string(3 dimensional if used as a char array) from teststand to CVI, but cannot figure out how to manage the memory. Would anyone know how to do this?

I have a few questions to get a better idea of what exactly you are trying to do:  In what way are you looking to pass the array of strings?  Are you passing the value through a calling step, or are you looking to access the variable directly through CVI using the TestStand engine?  Also, can you clarify what you mean when you say that you cannot figure out how to manage the memory?  Are you referring to managing in CVI or in TestStand?  Thanks!
