After upgrade from 7.1 to 8.5 DAQmx drivers are not found

I just upgraded from LV7.1 to 8.5 and can no longer find many DAQmx vi's such as:

1) DAQmx Read.vi
2) DAQmx Create Virtual Channel.vi
3) etc....

I downloaded and installed the latest DAQmx (NIDAQ870f1.exe) and the problem persists. Any thoughts??

You might have more luck by posting your question on the LabView board: this one is for LabWindows/CVI.

Hi,

It sounds like all you need to do is add DAQmx support to your upgraded version of LabVIEW: open the Add or Remove Programs dialog from the Windows Control Panel, select the National Instruments Software entry and click Change/Remove, choose NI-DAQmx and click Modify to add support for your new version of LabVIEW. If that fails, than try repairing the DAQmx installation by clicking Repair. The KnowledgeBase article below describes how to do this in more detail:

Why Don't the NI-DAQmx/NI-DAQ VIs Appear in my LabVIEW Functions Palette?

If you have any questions about the procedure, please let me know!
