Agilent N5770A, DSO5012A, and N3300A related IVI-C driver prog documentaion?

Hi,

I am using LabWindows CVI 6.0 to write test programs (Windows XP environment).

I down loaded Agilent N5770A, DSO5012A, and N3300A related IVI-C drivers from the NI web site since Agilent only provides IVI-COM drivers.

To use the fuctions calls, I need programming reference (manual) that woud describe the functions and related arguments. I need to get the SCIPI commands related to the instruments for programming purposes.

Where can I get support for the above items? Is there is any prog docs or relaed help site link?

Hi,

I did not understand why you are asking for the SCPI commands when you already had the IVI drivers.

These drivers cover every functionality of the device you may need to use.

If you want to use the SCPI, you just need the GPIB library which already comes with CVI.

I do not recommend that, because probably you'll end up writing your own driver after a while.

Install the drivers and just add the .fp, .lib, and .h files from the corresponding folders in Program Files>IVI directory and you'll be ready to go.

If you want the programming manuals for Agilent instruments you should be able find them in the Agilent website (for N3300A)
