Hey Moshik,
What do you mean when you say the older version does not show up in Add/Remove Programs? There should be a listing for National Instruments Software. Once you click Change/Remove on that, it should give you the option to remove any previous version. In any case, it does not sound like you had a beta version of our software. That does not seem like it would be the issue (typically you would know for sure if you were using a beta version).
In any case, I do think the best next step is to recompile the DLL's with the new version of CVI. I understand that this might take some time, but it is really the best step to try and resolve the message. Since this error message is unexpected, it's hard to foresee any potential problems, but it would not seem that it would cause any problems besides the message. Maybe you could try just recompiling one DLL and then call it to see if you get a message. Let us know if you still have issues.
