I've tried the solution and it didnt' work for me. It seems as though the help message does come up, but it quickly gets blanked out. Hence the picture I attached in the earlier posting. One interesting thing to note is that this occurs to most of the functions I use, except for the functions in the Visa library. I can see the function help for viWrite, viRead, etc... But I can't see any other function help for any other functions.
