What happens if you remove any of your Vision functions and just have the NI-IMAQ 3.x driver functions? Also, you mentioned that you have Vision 5.0 libraries, but are you actually using any Vision functions in your code or are you just using NI-IMAQ functions? Could you also just create an executable out of one of the IMAQ example programs for each version, and do you still see the same latency. For example, build a grab example for version 2.6 and then build a grab example for 3.x (both on CVI 8.0) and do they show the same delays as you are seeing?
