CVI program to HP1333 started hanging.

I have been running an application for several years. Now the program hangs randomly. Must do CTL-ALT-DEL and stop program. When I run RESMAN, it hangs at 1 second clearing "SYSFAIL". Only way to clear is restart computer. Have swapped PCI card, slot 0 card, cable, backplane, HP1333A, reloaded program, scanned hard drive (no errors). What am I missing?

Has anything changed in the system over the years? Something must have changed in order to introduce this different behavior. What PCI card do you have in your system? I assume that you are using MXI/VXI. What is your CVI code actually doing? Has the code changed at all? I would recommend running NI-Spy while the CVI code is running to see if we can track down any abnormal behavior (NI-Spy will log low-level driver calls):
