CVI version 6 is not recognized by IMAQ version 5

Upgraded CVI 5.5 to CVI 6 and had to reinstall IMAQ 5.
The problem is that for some reason the IMAQ installer does not
recognize that a copy of CVI is already installed and it "offers"
C/C++ support only (No visual Basic, no CVI support on the
installation selection list).
What can I do beside installing CVI 5.5 again? (that worked, but
I would like to have a clean install). Upgrading to IMAQ 6 is not
an option for a while, for two reasons: 1), it is costly, 2.) I
do not need the extended functionality right now.
Any solution to this problem (NI) ?

Lajos, give us a call at (512) 795-8248, get a IMAQ service request, and once you are transfered, ask for mike in the IMAQ/Motion group. I will be able to send you a fix for your problem.
