CVI2013 SP1 and preprocessor #define identifier tooltip and watch

Hi,

In CVI2012 SP1, in the source code window, if I move the mouse over a identifier of a #define directive, the compiler shows me the tootip with its corresponding value. Similarly, in a watch expression that includes a #define identifier, everything works fine.

Different for CVI2013 SP1 where, in the source code window, if I move the mouse over a identifier of a #define directive, the compiler DO NOT shows me the tootip with its corresponding value. Similarly, in a watch expression that includes a #define identifier, it report the ERROR: Unknown identifier.

Yes, this is a known issue in CVI 2013. We don't yet have an estimate for when a fix will be available, unfortunately.
