Can CVI 7.0 support Win XP Embedded OS?

Dear CVI Experts:

My company is going to develop the new product based on Windows XP Embedded OS and I will test it. I am wondering if I develop a LW/CVI 7.0 application on my desktop Windows XP, can I run it on Win XP Embedded? From Microsoft website, it says Win XP Embedded is fully compatiable with Win XP. However, I don't know how much compatiability for applications developed by LW/CVI 7.0. Currently I have CVI5.5 and look for upgrade to 7.0.

Officially, the answer is no, since its not something we have tested with CVI 7. It might work, depending on the components that Microsoft added/removed.But since we do not support it, please remember that if you do come across any problems, you'll be on your own.

I am also looking at doing this. Note that I am currently using CVI 5.5 with NI-DAQ 6.7 and some NI boards and successfully developed a system with Embedded NT 4. You just need to make sure that all the required components of the Embedded OS required by CVI are included.
