Compile Options

I want to compile my code to a .obj, not an NI niobj or NI debug nidobj.  The help contents suggest Options>>Create Object File

but I don't see this selection in the options pulldown.  How do I do this ?

did you search the 'options' in the source editor window (see screenshot) ?
(maybe you are referring to the 'options' menu in the project/workspace pane ?)

I found out that your cursor must be located within the source file you want to compile then the Options menu has this selection available in the pulldown.  I was selecting the file on my project tree and then accessing the Options pulldown menu which did not have the selection available in this mode.
