Debugging remotely using CVI

Hello,

My target task is on a remote machine , which is not in our local network but is in another city , how to debug such a application? I think that even if could achieve this purpose, but how to go through the network fire wall ? Please give an advise . Thanks.

Hello David,

The following discussion forum post goes into detail on how to set up remote debugging on your machines. Also the following Tutorial further explains the setup process. After this process is set up, you need to make sure that both machines can communicate on the specified network port. If you have a firewall, you will have to set it up to allow connections over the specified port.
