FPGA Interface in LabWindows/CVI

Hello,
Is it possible to interface a VI written in labview running on a FPGA (e.g. PXI 7831 R)? To clarify this: I don't want to run a CVI program on the FPGA. I understand that this is not possible. A question regarding this was already answered in this forum. I just want to call some functions like "Open FPGA VI Reference", "Read/Write Control", etc. from my LabWindows/CVI program to load a VI on the FPGA and fetch the results.

Regards,
Andreas

Andreas,

as stated in this document in the NI knowledgebase, the onl way to do this is to call a DLL that was generated with LV and that communicates with the PXI-7831R.

I hope that helps,
