I’m looking for example programs that show how to read a Fieldpoint from CVI. The online instructions say that they are installed on my disk.
I tried reinstalling LabView and it said that the example files are already installed.
So I know I have them. If you can just tell me the name of one of the files, I can search the disk and find where they are stored.
(I put this question on the wrong board earlier)
Thanks,
John

Hi John,
FieldPoint is not officially supported on LabWindows/CVI, nor is the FieldPoint driver library. For this reason, you will not be able to find examples to work with. For some specific information, I recommend taking a look at the LabWindows/CVI Real-Time Module Frequently Asked Questions KnowledgeBase article.

Lauren

Hi John,
The information in my last post is specific to using FieldPoint with Real-Time. If you are using a Windows system, there are a number of examples available for use with FieldPoint. Verify that you have installed support for CVI with the FieldPoint driver, as shown in the screen shot below.
From there, the examples should be located in the following file path: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\CVI\samples\FieldPoint
I am sorry for any confusion. I hope this helps answer your question.
Regards,
Lauren
