I'm using the path information for files inside a .prj cvi project for a own developed application.
The problem that I have is when I copy a folder containing all files of the project including the project the path for all the files inside the prj is still not changed.
To be more explicit, the information inside the Path key of the [File 000X] sections of the .prj is not updated after the project is loaded into CVI and still points to the old path.
The update is done only if I make some modifications inside the project but I do not want to do that.
What I need, if possible, is to be able to modify a setting or something inside the prj file that will lead to a path fix when you open the prj file with CVI.
Ex:
all files stored in c:\work\prj1
[File 0001]
Path =/c/work/prj1/source.c
copy of the prj1 folder into c:\work\copy1 of prj1
all files stored in c:\work\copy1 of prj1
[File 0001]
Path =/c/work/prj1/source.c
Path to the files is no longer correct.
