Getting started with modbus plus ?

HI

I need some help with locating a modbus library to develop my own application for the modbus plus and some help on how to use it.

I have check almost every where and could not find such a library.

I thought of buying the MBX SDK but it is way to expensive for my buget.

Is there a free way of developing this type of software ?

Hi Shako,

as far as I am aware of, some instrument vendors supply drivers supporting the Modbus protocoll. I am not aware of a library, but didn't search for one... However, the specification is open (http://www.modbus.org/specs.php) and so you are free to implement any driver supporting this protocol.
