Hebrew Support problems

Hello,

I've completed the deployment of my test program using TestStand 3.0 + CVI 7.0. The only problem left is CVI messages I wrote in Hebrew on the development system are shown as "gibrish" when run on the production unit.

I'm running Win2K and I installed the Hebrew support. I can open the WordPad and write in English & Hebrew.

How can I solve this Problem?

Thanks
Rafi

Hello Rafi,

First, I have a few questions for you to help troubleshoot this issue:
What is different between the development and the test machine? You mentioned you have CVI 7.0 on the development machine. Do you have the CVI development environment on the test machine, or just the runtime engine? If you run your application on the development machine outside of the CVI environment, do you see the same incorrect behavior? Also which version of the runtime engine and/or CVI are you using on the test machine? Is the operating system and service pack on the test machine the same as the one installed on the development machine?

Thanks.

Hi Wendy

Thanks for answering. I was able to solve this problem. Actually, it happened to be a very simple solution. I had to select the Hebrew as the 'default' language, and that's it. I don't understand why it works like that but I'm happy enough that it does.

Thanks again
Rafi
