How can this driver be IVI-compliant?

I downloaded a LeCroy WaveRunner 6051 Oscilloscope driver from the NI web site. This driver is supposedly an IVI driver, but it does not include a "self_test" function, which the IVI standard requires. So how can this driver be IVI-compliant?

Hello,

Since the "IviScope_self_test" function exists in the class driver for scopes, it would seem that this is a required function. I would contact the author of the driver to see what they say about this, but I agree with your initial assessment. If you downloaded the one from National Instruments' Instrument Driver network, there should be a link to LeCroy on that page who was the original author.
