How do I directly control the intruments of my PXI system from a host PC?

I am trying to familiarize myself with programming my PXI system (w/ DAQmx Devices).  I am connecting to the system through a network from a host PC where I have LabWindows/CVI and it Real-Time module installed.  The PXI controller is running LabVIEW Real-Time Executive OS.  I am familiar with how to simulate the physical devices on my PXI system as simulated devices on the host system.

However, my question is how do I directly execute the applications I develop on my host machine on my PXI system?
