How do you uninstall LabWindows/CVI 5.5 from Windows NT 4.0?

I have tried to uninstall LabWindows/CVI 5.5, but it shows up in the Windows NT Install/Uninstall Software options. Apparently something is remaining in the Registry or somewhere, how do you get it remvoed?

Hi,
I guess that you mean that the app is physically removed, but an uninstall entry still exists in the add/remove programs applet...
The entroes listed here are stored in the registry in the following key...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\

If you have successfully uninstalled the app, and just want to get rid of the entry in the applet, simply remove the offending subkey from this key...

Regards
John

Before you make any modification to the registry, please be sure to create a backup file for the registry by going to the menu bar and choose Registry, then Export File. I would advise you to use a utility like regclean available at Microsoft's site for free, rather than manually deleteing a registry key.

Tweakui (from M$'s web site and various magazine cover disks) provides a
utility to do exactly this.
