How to set up ClearCase for work with CVI

We are running Rational ClearCase 4.00 under WinNT/2000. CVI recognizes clearcase, but no project can be found. How must clearcase be set up and do I need UCM? (CC runs fine with Visual C++ 6.0)

Hello

You should be able to use CVI with ClearCase. For CVI to check in and check out the project correctly, you should make sure that you configure clearcase in the project window under Options >> Source Code control options. If the SCC package is correctly installed, you should be able to attach the correct provider. You should then be able to use CVI to check out and check code to and from the server.
