How to start NI5401 in FG mode (Function Generation in BURST )??

I would like to know how can I operate the Ni5401 in BURST TRIGGER MODE of opeartion for FG MODE, I am getting a trigger signal from the IO card (Ni6040), I want to start the function generator in phase with this trigger signal?
Please suggest me.
Thanking you,

Hi Nirmal,

I don´t know what your doing with especially the Burst Mode. So I think it is better if i try to give a little help for burst mode.
After the start trigger has been implemented, the waveform described by the first sequence entry is generated until another trigger is implemented. At the time of triggering, the earlier waveform is completed before the waveform described by the second sequence entry is generated and so on. When all of the sequence list is exhausted, it returns to the first sequence entry.

To change the trigger mode setting, set paramID to ND_TRIGGER_MODE to burst (See manual NI5401).

Dear Mr.Thorsten,
In NI signal generator help guide (NI 5401), its mentioned that the BURST MODE can be either ARB mode or FG mode(DDS Mode), I just want to know, how to start the function generator in BURST MODE with DDS mode. We are sending a trigger signal via RTSI and want the NI 5401 to start generation each time it receives a trigger, synchorous to the incoming trigger signal, ( Our main idea is to synchoronize the trigger signal, a TTL signal from another function generator, with the NI5401). But what we find is that the function generator is not working in phase with the trigger signal, I guess its not starting a new wave each time it receives a burst. One more problem is that when we start our system before giving any trigger, we are getting a 5V
output from RTSI bus, we do like to know how to bring this signal to zero. Eagerly waiting for your reply.
