How to use VI Logger to log DAQ timing/counter data?

is there any way that VI Logger can log timing data from a DAQ board?

e.g. need to measure rotational period, and log it along with analog data.

assumed I could setup a virtual channel somehow in NIMAX and pump it
into VI Logger but seems there is no way to do that.

Unfortunately, you can't do that with VI Logger. VI Logger was designed to log data from Analog Virtual Channels only.
