I'm trying to re-install CVI 5.0.1 under Win98. Everything works fine, but I can't install NI-Editor font. Any ideas?

NIEditor is not an actual font, it is just aliased to Courier. Your system is probably missing the Courier font. We created these font names for cross-platform use, so we can be sure our default fonts are appropriate.

Which version of Courier do you mean? Courier New is installed, that's what I use instead. Unfortunately I can't check the PC again until next week for the other versions. The problem is that the function panels are defaulting to Times New Roman, which looks REALLY wierd!

I mean the basic courier (cour.ttf), not courier new. It should install with any Windows OS, but must have been deleted from that other system so we moved on to TNR.
