First make sure that all of the software is installed properly. It should show up under Add/Remove Programs in the control panel. If you are using NI-IMAQ, make sure your imaq board shows up in MAX and that you can do a snap or grab. If all of this works, the software is probably installed properly.
Within CVI, you may have to go to Options>>Library Options and add your IMAQ fp files to your user libraries. The same is true for Vision and OCR.
