Installed IMAQ, now missing an fp file

We installed NI-IMAQ 8.5 onto a WinXPSP2 system running CVI 8.0, and now we get the following error popup when we start CVI:

Warning: Cannot find program file for library.

Library: "MAX configuration library"

Function panel file: "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\CVI80\bin\nimaxconfig.fp"

Anybody know what this is?

Hello Menchar,

This MAX Configuration Library allows you to configure data, generate system reports, and parse MAX error strings.  Try doing a windows search for this file.  If you can not find it on your computer you will need to re-install any driver that installs MAX (NI-DAQmx).  If it still does not find it in the new location or after you've verified it's on your computer you can fix it in CVI by going to Library>>Customize and editing the path for the nimaxconfig.fp entry.
