Library Problem with CVI 6.0 and 7.0

Hello,

I'd CVI 6.0 installed on my computer with all libraries.
Last month, i've installed CVI 7.1 without removing CVI 6.0.
Today, i have to work on a project with cvi 6.0 and i've 2 libraries which are in grey (Easy I/O For DAQ and Data Acquisition). It seems like it isn't installed but it is because it works with cvi 7.1.
I've removed and re-installed all ni drivers, but it doesn't work at all.

Is anybody have a response?

Thanks,
Auma.

Hello,

This is a known issue with the architecture of CVI and Drivers. Divers only support the most current version of CVI on your system so when you install a newer version of CVI the Drivers will place themselves there.

Here is something you can try though, copy the .fp, .lfp, .lib (basically any files with the same name before the extension) from the bin folder of the newer CVI back into the older cvi bin folder. For easyio and Traditional DAQ these are easyio.lib and dataacq.lib.

Note: These files are no longer attached to any installer so you will have to manually update and delete these files when updating/removing DAQ or CVI.
