Macros in variable watch view

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello all,

I'm pretty sure this used to work in 2010.

If I have a macro in a formula, it won't evaluate in the watch window.

For instance, according to iso646 I can have "a and b" in my prog, which compiles fine (#define and &&). But selecting it with Ctrl-F7 returns an error. Editing the formula to replace 'and' with '&&' works. Not critical but annoying.

gdargaud,

What version of LabWindows/CVI are you using? I tried to recreate the behavior in 2013 SP1 but am not seeing the error you described.

There is already a bug report for this in the Known Issues list.

It would be good if we could filter the known bug table, for instance filter out all bugs solved before 2013sp1: I've perused it several times but keep getting sidetracked by solved bugs.
