Maximum baud rate

I have a USB device that communicates at 460,800 baud or 921600 on a serial
port device.
Hyperterminal on my Windows XP Laptop allows me to select these baud rates.

Will the Labwindows functions OpenComConfig, ComWrt, etc work these baud
rates?

You may use non-standard baud rates.

All baud rate values are interpreted literally by the comm driver.

I think however you might be limited to 256000, but the best option would be to tryit and see what response you get.

Hi,

Jattie is right, the driver will pass the value directly to the serial driver for your device. The only limitation is the data type. Since the value is a long int you can have speed up to 2**31 1.

If the driver for you device supports it, then CVI should support it.

good luck.
