NI CVI 8.1 Run-time engine won't stop loading

I jsut recently picked up a GPIB interface project and I loaded the drivers for the GPIB USB device that came with the hardware.  My problem is everything works fine but wheneve I start LabView, or even do something in LabView I get a message that says "Please wait while Windows configures NI LabWindows\CVI 8.1 Run time engine" If the disk isn't in the drive it intstructs me to supply disk.  Why am I getting this message? What can I do to fix it.

Thanks,
Chris

So I unloaded it, along with it's counter parts NI-SWITCH and 488 and something else it is now fine.....I will have to reload this though once I go back to my GPIB project I assume.

Hi Chris,

You are correct.  You will need to re-install the NI-488.2 drivers before using your GPIB project again.  Additionally, if you are using any NI-Switch products in your LabWindows/CVI project, you will need to re-install the NI-Switch driver before using that project as well.
