Out of Bounds pointer arguments (past end of memory

Hello everybody,

I am using Labwindows with Imaqdx 3.1, PXI 1033 and a 1394 camera but when I tried to run the application, the system shows a Fatal Error Message "Out of bounds pointer arguments (past end of memory" with 3 options, Ignore, Break anc Cancel. Using Ignore, you can continue without problems, but I don't want to see that message. The row with the problem is "VisionErrChk(imaqGrayMorphology(image, image, IMAQ_ERODE, &structElem));"

I had been usign Imaqdx 3.0.1 but the original PXI 1033 is not working properly. I changed the old PXI for a new PXI (same model) but the original installations of MAX and Imaqdx were damaged too. For that reason I installed Imaqdx 3.6 and it shows the same fatal error. I don't know if the problem is with the version and I tried uninstalling the 3.6 and deleting the folders. I installed the 3.1 hopping it works, but it didn't. Is the version the reason of the problem?

Hi Dx-Mx,

What is the fatal error you get with IMAQdx 3.6. Have you tried 3.7?

Hi DX-MX

Try upgrading to imaqdx 3.7 and seeif that fixes anything. Also after upgrading run the NI camera valiadator here
