Programmer Manual for .INF file syntax

Is there a manual which describes the syntax and usage of the ".INF" installation scripts. This is a scripting environment called InstalIt that NI licensed from Helpful Programs Inc. However, it appears that the 3rd party company Helpful Programs Inc is out of business. An assumption I'm making since their 800-number has been disconnected and their website (www.instalit.com) doesn't exist any more.
I would like to create a more customized scripted installation session for my users.

Hello

Its been a while since CVI stopped using Installit. Current versions of CVI now use the Microsoft Installer (msi) technologies for the CDK option. And MSI has beem documented quite well by Microsoft. It's something they are constantly improving and supporting. And this might be something to consider as your users start moving to the newer operating systems. If you do run into problems using Installit with XP or Win2k, there's not much you'll be able to change since Installit isnt being maintained anymore.

you might also want to try google to see if there is any documentation left of this tool.
